i think you shouldn't worry, like some said: it'll be over soon enough
but... are you on a blacklist, or did they let their friends not join you, just to P you off?
if grown ups even listen to crap that someone is on a blacklist, then its not very... normal, i mean i wont care what they say about someone i dont know, if that person likes to help or run me, then i let my own feelings tell me what to do
and people shouting stuff are mostly kids who want the attention of everyone
as for the KOABD title, i dont even have rank 1, cuz i dont care, i just like to play
as people told you: ignore those kids, they wont bother you too much if you ignore em, they'll get tired of it

Let's try and keep the focus of this thread on methods for dealing with griefers instead of personal attacks on the OP or the harassers.

I'd just do what others suggested and do something else for a few days then return to your runs. And if you really did nothing wrong then just laugh it off and move on.
Tbh these 'blacklists' make me laugh, ok if you do something purposefully to mess up a run or if you leave mid-run then let others know but some people get blacklisted for doing nothing wrong.
I don't do SCs or runs of any sort but the same thing happened in HA...I was forming with my guild and this random sin tried to join, he was politely that we were waiting for guildies and he started saying we were noobs and that our whole guild had been put on his guilds blacklist. 'Goodluck trying to get into teams' was his closing remark. This made me lol.

The notion of a blacklist was always dumb. The first time I saw someone use 'blacklist' was in ToA when UW runs were 15-20 mins with a pug and everyone who died, wiped, aggroed wrong, farmed or otherwise wasn't 100% perfect was hit with a barrage of "omg blacklist!11."
I think it will blow over, as it always does. The only way a 'blacklisted' name would stick would be if the individual did something reeeeally sucky like stealing cons money and quitting or deliberately sabotaging the run out of spite. In which case, I would reject the individual based on my personal bad experience with him/her or if another party member gave a sincere and justified warning about an invitee.
This kind of behaviour has led me away from pugging speed clears because I'm always tense and in fear of making mistakes and ultimately not enjoying myself - so I run with guildies and friends only. Even at that, if someone makes a mistake, I yell "BLACKLIST OMG" and it's worth a good chuckle. Everyone I play with regularly knows blacklisting is futile and infantile.

Yeah. It sounds like the O/P ran into a few real assholes, but on teh interwebs when you troll people a bit, do expect for people to troll you back some as well.
As people have already pointed out, you are one name among many so unless you've done something truly spectacular, you're not going to be remembered for that long.

I laugh every time I see anyone take a "blacklist" so seriously. Who the hell cares, they must be really pathetic if they actually keep a list of players not allowed to join groups. Just keep on playing. Have no fear.

And people say PvP is full of elitist twats.
Seems PvE running has it's equal share, this blacklist craps a joke.
I'd just recommend being honest with the groups you get into that he's full of shit and has some vendetta for you, most reasonable would take i'd imagine.
I wouldn't rush into buying a name change, as these sound like the persistant specie of twat. They may well have friendlisted you, which case the name change would be a complete waste of money.
If all else fails, i'd imagine they'll forget about it soon enough.

There are more than enough BDS for sale in Kamadan. Do something else for awhile.
As for the group that is shunning you: What goes around, comes around. But if you really care about THEIR opinion of you, approach the guy you offended and apologize. If you don't care, then let it go. He will too eventually.

OP: you act like the mob is hot on your trail. the people tarnishing your name are humans with lives as well... maybe not as much as the rest of us, but still. they will get plenty bored if they have not already and you need to worry about nothing.
when you see people in towns spamming peoples names saying "XXXX sucks blah blah" do you really pay any attention to it? i doubt anyone would ever be like ooooo im not letting you run me i saw some guy scream out that youre bad a million times.
No.

hmm say 1000 ppl do sc and 1/2 gets blacklisted by idiots - soon there wont be enough ppl to sc in teams .. do you think ppl who are in need of a sc team will worry next day about someone who for non serious reasons had the blacklist cry ?
How many actual sc teams actually listen to blacklist cry - unless its serious they dont give a toss usually - and most times they see the same prat crying blacklist for daft reasons ( wonder if anyones been blacklisted for having bad armor lol ).
Personally i wouldnt worry - you shud probably get a team easily enough

^ And if you play SoOSC or ANYTHING with friends and a few pugs, you're not going to act stone-faced around your friends, are you? You'll carry on doing what you do, luring everything, rushing/lagging behind or spamming shit on the compass.
You shouldn't stop doing what you do for the sake of a PUG and lose out on entertainment.

My only bit of advice would be dont hang around Vlox for hours arguing with these people, because then people will recognise your name after a small while. Just avoid it for a few days and then go back, join teams for a few days and don't set any up yourself (avoid talking on all chat or trade chat at all) After a week or so it should have died down.
Sucks that people can be this abusive, but I guess welcome to the internet

There is actually a blacklist site, but I have been blacklisted like 39 times and still got into groups.
No one checks that stuff, man.
